Medals
All dancers who participate in the Parkland Dance Fesitval receive a medal. Mark categories and medal levels for the 2026 Festival will be as follows:
Platinum with Honours: 95+
Platinum: 92-94.99
Gold with Honours: 88-91.99
Gold: 85-87.99
Silver: 80-84.99
Bronze: 75-79.99
NEW: "Heart of The Festival" Studio Award

This award will be awarded following the final session of the Festival. It will be chosen by the Parkland Dance Festival Board and will be based on:

Camaraderie, spirit, sportsmanship, enthusiasm, kindness, teamwork, positivity and encouragement.

Awards

Awards and scholarships will be communicated electronically at the end of the competition.

Competitive award categories include: most outstanding, most promising and adjudicator's choice awards. Most outstanding is based on the highest mark in a category. Most promising will be awarded at the sole discretion of the Adjudicators.

Most Outstanding Pre-Competitve Awards will be based on the highest marks in the Pre-Competitive Classification, with one award for all categories and age groups combined.

The Most Outstanding Novice Awards will be based on the highest marks in the Noivce Classification, with one award for all categories and age groups combined..

Regarding all marks-based awards, ties will be broken and a single winner will be chosen by the Adjudicators.
